Lilla B. Horváth have received the Uranium pen award

According to the traditions - on the Free Press Day – the Paks city council and the Paks NPP have commonly organized the ceremony which was hosted by the Nagy Erzsébet hotel on the 14 mach 2012.
On the event the Major of Paks welcomed all those present, the representatives of the media and the earlier awarded. The show was presented by the II. Rákóczi Ferenc elementary school.

Following the welcoming speech the CEO of the Paks NPP, István Hamvas presented the Uranium pen award – established by the Paks NPP – which in 2012 was received by

B. Horváth Lilla,

the colleague of Világgazdaság magazine.

Lilla B. Horváth is the employee of the Világgazdaság magazine. She has great professional experience. Through her work she had gained wide range knowledge and overview about the national energy industry. She has also been following the events of the Paks Npp for a long period. She presents the everyday news and events of the nuclear power plant through her trustworthy articles and objective perspectives. With her work she contributes through the national media for the population to receive realistic picture of the nuclear power plants everyday operation.

The Uranium pen award was established by the Paks Nuclear power plant in 1992 with the purpose to have an annual award presented to one journalist who writes about the peaceful application of nuclear power, and gives factual presentation of the Paks Npp for a longer period. The award is a representative, brandy pen on which the „Paks Nuclear Power Plant Zrt.” is engraved. The awarded also receives a registered diploma.
